2003 Portland Aluminium South West Games


The Portland Aluminium South West Games involve over 6000 participants in 60 plus sport. The 2003 Games are to be hosted by the Glenelg Shire (host city Portland) from the 1st to 9th of November.

The range of sports includes soccer, hockey, badminton, basketball, netball, archery, golf, martial arts, equestrian events, darts, Irish dancing, shooting events, go karting, rowing, line dancing, ballroom dancing, motorcross, croquet, speedway, walking, golf, cycling, tenpin bowling, greyhound racing, indoor bias bowls, swimming, events for people with disabilities plus many other sports.

Compeititors come from across the South West (Warrnambool, Corangamite Shire, Glenelg Shire, Shire of Southern Grampians and Moyne), regional/metro Victoria and interstate.
