YWCA Victoria is the leading advocate for young Victorian women. YWCA Victoria is a 120 year old membership-based organisation that creates and implements programs and services that enhance the social, educational, economic and political development of young women. YWCA Victoria is committed to the equality of women in all areas of their lives.
YWCA Victoria plays a strong role in advocacy on issues affecting women under 30.
YWCA Victoria runs a number of programs that support disadvantaged young women by providing them with opportunities to develop and enhance their creativity, self expression, social networks, skills and well-being. A mentoring program, housing service and an employment and training program are just some of the young women's programs run by YWCA Victoria. Programs operate from Melbourne, Bendigo and Geelong branches.
