King Valley Learning Exchange:
The KVLE Flexible Learning Centre comprises the Moyhu Campus
(in the Hansonville Church at Lion's Park), together with a Mobile Internet Cafe.
From it's inception, the KVLE has never had a physical home and has been operated from the home of the incumbent Coordinator with training programs being conducted in community facilities such as Schools, Health Centres, Hotels and in the workplace (e.g. farms).
From 1987 to 2000, the activities of the KVLE have been concentrated on the villages of Whitfield and Moyhu with a combined population of some 500 people.
In 2000, the organisation took a new direction with the election of a new committee. The immediate objectives were set to (a) establish a physical presence for the organisation, and (b) to expand activities to encompass the whole of the King Valley in Lifelong Learning and the development of Social Capital.
With the restoration of the Hansonville Church, located at Lion's Park Moyhu, the KVLE now has a shop front where the community can get to know the organisation better through a developing Community Drop-In Centre.
