Euroa Community Education Centre already serves as a model in the adult, community and education sector for its networking and partnership with other adult and community education providers and with other community organisations, business and industry. My Connected Community will build on this existing model to become an innovative example of how the Internet can be used to enchance and extend existing programs. My Connected Community will benefit from experience and expertise gained through a twenty-five year association with the local community. In recent times Euroa Community Education Centre has extended its outreach program to include such communities as Violet Town, Longwood, and Nagambie.

| Clubs to be contacted shortly include service clubs, tourism and business associations, farming and landcare organisations and hobby groups such as garden clubs or historical societies. Other special interest groups such as writers groups will also have the opportunity to meet like-minded people online. A connection has already been made between local writers and others from Diamond Creek and this link will be strengthened through the availability of My Connected Community. | |
