Brunswick Neighbourhood House is a place where people come together to meet other people and share or gain skills, knowledge and support. It is open to people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.
The house is managed by and for the community through an elected Committee of Management.
Brunswick Neighbourhood House operates through funding support from the Moreland City Council, the Department of Human Services, Adult, Community and Further Education, and other funding bodies from time to time. The unpaid hours of many voluntary workers are also warmly acknowledged
Brunswick Neighbourhood House will receive $10,000 to establish 5 online groups targeting senior Victorians including senior people from a non-English speaking background, recent migrants, unemployed people and those outside the education system and workforce including disadvantaged youth and people with a disability. The project will aim to provide skills, support, information and awareness raising in communicating online.
