Pvt. Wyatt's mother, moving from Buchan South to Bruthen in January 1919 wrote to the Base Records Melbourne to advise his change of address...
...by this time he was in England recovering from having his left eye blown out at the end of the war in France. His daughter, Mrs Phyllis Tanner helped him revisit Buchan South several times before his death in 1977.
