Jacqueline McNallyAfter completing a Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Technology), my first real job was sorting seagrasses with CSIRO Marine Laboratories. My diligent and meticulous nature then allowed me to move to the task of counting hairs on the legs of phyllosoma (lobster larvae). The career path of scientific research, statistics and both financial and technical software products has provided me with a broad view of documentation methods. I now enjoy working in my own business providing online and paper documentation for engineering, science, and both computer hardware and software products. My work assists me with my insatiable curiosity to find out 'why'. Recently, we have embarked on developing our own electronics products and are currently in a design for manufacture phase of our first product, an OEM battery management board. I am married to Harry, an electronics engineer, and we live in a 'renovators dream' home in South Perth, which is also home to three cats; Shelby, Midnight, and Clemmie. Mmm, I used to say: 'I enjoy pottering about in my establishing cottage garden, devouring books, Pilates (ask me), swimming and creating leadlight windows for our home.' Now we have ADSL. I am able to contribute more to the Open Source community by managing email discussion lists, receiving webmasters mail, maintain web content, write, and try to assist my virtual colleagues to develop the best open source and open content. I need more bandwidth! I still read lots of books. A few of the real and online Linux communities in which I participate.
