Working Women's Health has maintained its woman-to-woman model: conducting multilingual health promotion by and for immigrant working women.
Working Women's Health has a 25-year history, that started with pilot factory visiting program in1977 to provide family planning education immigrant women factory workers. Over the years, the Program has expanded to include broader reproductive,sexual, occupational, and mental health education in community and industry settings.It has maintained its woman-to-woman model: conducting multilingual health promotion by and for immigrant working women.
The next three years will be an overwhelmingly exciting and powerful time to be a part of Working Women's Health and immigrant women.
