Volunteering is a great way to create connections with your local community and learn about other cultures and perspectives. It is also a wonderful way to make new friends! As a volunteer with the Women on the Move project, you will be in a position to help a local refugee woman and her children settle in the area. Your friendship and assistance will empower your companion, as well as yourself.
You will receive training and regular supervision to help you gain valuable experience.
The project will run regular group activities, so you will get to know a number of local women, in a safe and fun environment.
All volunteers making home visits must have their own mobile phone available in case of emergencies.
