Our Camp Flag
The Waratahs made this fabulous Camp Flag before the Camp. During the camp Gemma added her name to the flag (after this photo was taken). The flag was raised each morning of camp for the day and then lowered before sunset.
Gemma & Laura cooking Bacon wrapped sausages in Plum Sauce
Laura & Gemma were the cooks for dinner on Day 1 of the Tall Timbers Camp. The delicious sausages were served with camp oven baked vegies & beans followed by Peach surprise with custard. YUMMO!
Zoe hanging up her teatowel after drying dishes
This special rack holds everyones cutlery bags & teatowels out to dry. You can see lots of people in the background of this photo. Waratah guides shared the campsite with the Harris Family reunion on Day 1.
Amelia lighting the Campfire
After sunset and lowering the camp flag Amelia lit the Campfire (that everyone helped to build). We then sang many songs eg This little Guiding light of mine, Campfire's Burning, Waltzing Matilda & more. We played 'Celebrity Head' and finished up with Smores.... MMMMMM

Here are some photos from our great guide camp on the ANZAC long weekend 2004. The photos here are from our first day at camp where we set up camp, played a wide game using a compass, made mobiles, sang around the campfire and cooked a yummy dinner. Day 2 We participated in the ANZAC parade at Baradine and finished the day with a Disco!
