Add a dash of JAZZ a Pinch of BLUES, a tickle of COMEDY, a splash of COUNTRY, then shake it up with the best of ROCK and ROLL and you are in for a fun filled night of ENTERTAINMENT with ‘SAY LA VIEVE’. THE SHOWS All combinations come with lights, PA and advertising posters. All shows feature vocals, violin, mandolin, harmonica, base guitar and percussion. 1. VIEVE SPECIAL A three hour variety show comprising of three sets of forty minute brackets of popular music spanning sixty years. Sa La Vieve selects the songs performed and the music to be played in the breaks. Includes a Blues Brothers floor show, basic costume changes comic relief and audience participation where appropriate. Full band sound is provided. 2. FOR THE IRISH AT HEART Similar show to the Chefs Special with the addition of some Irish Jigs and reels featuring the Violin and Bodrhan drum unaccompanied. Also features popular Irish songs from artists such as ‘The Corrs’ and ‘Van Morrison’. 3. ROCK 'N' ROLL Get yer Rock’n Roll dancing shoes on. This fun filled show features music for rock’n roll dancers including classics like ‘Johnny Be Good’, ‘Old time rock and roll’ and ‘Jail house rock’. Break time music is packed with old time greats. 4. FOR THE YOUNGSTERS This variety packed show includes classics from the last three decades and a splash of top forty. ‘Doof’ and dance music played in the breaks. 5. ROCKIN' GOOD COUNTRY Straight from Tamworth. Say ‘La Vieve’ focuses on up beat country, with country classics like ‘The devil went down to Georgia’, '9 to 5', ‘Down to the twist and shout’, and ‘The gambler’. Country music is played in the breaks. 6. All THAT JAZZ This power packed show features Jazz and Blues with irresistible songs from Garry More, Stevie Ray Vaugn, Aritha Franklin, Frank Sinartra, the Andrews Sisters and many more. Break music is varied. 7. FOR THE KIDS Variety show featuring the kids on centre stage with dance and percussion instruments. Most of the music is for the grown ups with the addition of a few kiddie classics such as the ‘Chicken Dance’ and ‘The Hokey Pokey’. - OPTIONAL EXTRAS - Party games Presentations Longer shows Full costume changes every bracket |
