VicHPV Rides and Events
Come and Try Ride, First Sunday of the Month
See below.******************************************************************
We usually start and end near a railway station and ride about 40km total, mostly on bike trails. We visit a picnic area for lunch and stop for a cappuccino on the way back. We try to ride every weekend, usually on Sundays and usually from around 10am to about 4pm. There are also rides on Wednesdays. Riders suggest rides and become a ride contact for that day. If you have a favourite ride you may want to think about suggesting that route - the group is always open to new options. You don't need to pre-book to attend rides - you can be spontaneous! If it's raining on the day of the ride, ring the ride contact(s) to see if it's a goer. Sometimes we do a two-day weekend ride and it's wise to register your interest in advance for these.
The weekly ride information is posted regularly (usually each Thursday evening after weather forecast check) on the VicHPV bulletin board at Yahoo Groups website. To view the ride notices you need to subscribe to the VicHPV Yahoo Group. It's easy to subscribe and unsubscribe - see Main page for more info.

Riders under 16 should be accompanied by a cycling adult. An SAA approved helmet is required by law, also essential are a HPV / bike / trike in good working order, water bottle, snacks, sunscreen, phone money or mobile phone, pump, spare tube or tubes and appropriate tool kit.
