Maryborough HPV Enthusiasts Inc. Annual Invitation Ride was held on 23rd January 2005. Although entries were down this year the event was a success with all that attended having a good time. Most chose to do the shorter tourist ride, only Robert and Jana elected to be gofers and do the 50km along with a few local wedgies who joined us that morning. BBQ lunch was a buzz with recumbent talk with a few outside interested parties paying us a visit, we have definitely converted one lady into buying a recumbent, she has placed her order for a pre-loved Tri-Sled. Her husband is seriously considering one also.

Prizes for the raffle were donated by Maryborough IGA and Maryborough Cycles. Robert and Jana were in luck as they won both 1st and 3rd prizes, 2nd prize was won by Cathy. After lunch our guide Braden took us on a self ride tour of some of the historic sights of Maryborough. Many thanks to all those who made this event a great day.
