WEST MESA - PETROGLYPH NATIONAL PARK

Although there are many more places where rock art can be found in Petroglyph National Park, one of the best accessible parts is the north rim of Rinconada Canyon where a trail from a small parking place (at 1560 m) leads along several interesting petroglyphs. It is easy walking, but it can be extremely hot in summer, so take plenty of water with you as there is no shade.
