THREE RIVERS - NEW MEXICO

Although there are other, minor places where rock art can be found in the area, Three Rivers is easy to find and well signposted. A trail from a large parking place and picknick area leads to a ramada allowing several interesting petroglyphs to be seen. It is easy walking involving some steeper climbs. However, it can be extremely hot in summer, so take plenty of water with you as there is hardly any shade except for the ramada near the south end of the higher part of the ridge.
