Trentham Online CommunityTrentham is experiencing unprecedented popularity and growth, with a large and growing 'temporary' population.Trentham Online Community has been established in recognition of the fact that not all members of Trentham's community live permanently in Trentham. Despite seemingly good intentions, community communication is currently greatly restricted to 'permanent locals' only. As such a large number of community members might not be as informed or involved in community matters as they might prefer. The Online Community enables members to interact and discuss matters of interest to the entire town, without having to be in any particular place at any particular time. All aspects of the community can be accessed from the comfort of your own home, office or even on holiday in France, if you're so lucky. Most features can be fully utilised at any time of the day or night. It's entirely your choice. Now, doesn't that beat having to venture out at an inconvenient time in the middle of a dark, freezing, wet Trentham winter's night and sit in some chilly old hall for hours on end?!? What does the community offer?
Hepburn Shire Council has stated it intends to 'delegate' decision making to 'appointed community representatives'.
