Violet Town Writers' Group
The Violet Town Writers' Group was established in 1999 by the Euroa Community Education Centre. For three years now, the members of the group have met on a regular basis at the Violet Town Community Complex in Cowslip Street Violet Town on a Thursday morning between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm. No sessions are conducted during school holidays.
Group members enjoy a variety of genres: reminiscence, local history, short story, creative writing and poetry. Members are also keen readers and enjoy book sharing and discussion about currently available literature.
Through the Mc2, the Violet Town Writers are looking forward to developing networks with other writers across Victoria or Interstate.
