Conclusion
This project is a wonderful opportunity for women who are involved in the sport industry to assist each other to further not only their own sport, but that of fellow athletes. WSRV will be taking an administrative role in this project, but the driving force is the athletes themselves. This will also assist these women in attaining skills that previously they may not have needed to utilise, such as following meeting agendas, marketing and working with the media. This project will also assist these women to understand how sporting structures and systems operate and therefore will open up opportunities for them to take on positions within sport in the future.
