CHAPLAINCY
Chaplains are currently working in Mildura Senior College ,Chaffey Secondary College and Red Cliffs Secondary College. They are employed through the Council for Christian Education in Schools (CCES). Funding for their employment must be provided by the local community. Organization of the provision of the funds for this come under the responsibility of Mildura District CCES Schools Chaplaincy Board. Part of the money is contributed by the schools concerned. Churches and community organizations and individuals make regular donations. The Board appoints committees to run various money-raising activities during the year. These include:- Carols by Candlelight on the second Sunday before Christmas. Debutante Balls in August. Old Time Balls (This year on 28th to 30th October.) Updating and sale of district maps. |
