CMYI Statewide Network
The aim of this group is to facilitate on-going discussion regarding numerous topics relating to CLD youth issues. The on-line forum is an extension of the Statewide Network meetings. Providing the network participants with the opportunity to interact, communicate and share information continuously and most importantly, between each quarterly meeting.
This discussion forum aims to be a dynamic opportunity to comment on emerging issues and provide CMYI and the network participants with immediate critical feedback.
CMYI facilitates the Statewide Network Meetings every quarter. The meetings provide workers in the sector with an opportunity to network, establish links and gain and share knowledge with others in the field.
The CMYI Statewide Network Meetings and the on-line discussion group provide workers in the sector with a regular forum to discuss issues that have a significant impact on their work and the life experiences of the young people they facilitate. Both have the potential to support workers; place value on their contribution and enrich their work by providing a mechanism for partnerships development and collaborative work.
The opportunity to discuss important issues and network with fellow workers and to further develop professional skills is both valuable and rare.
