STOPD (stand together to oppose pentridge development)

STOPD is a community group made up of Parents of children who attend St Paul’s Primary school in Coburg and other members of the local community especially those who are concerned about the development of the old Pentridge jail site.
The developer, Peter Cavaroli, has started building the first of 2 four-storey apartment blocks which will look straight down on the playground and toilet area of our children’s school. Anyone who has children will know why this concerns our group.
The school had unsuccessfully tried to stop this development using normal processes.
The only thing that is going to stop this danger to our children is People Power!
So come and join our group in this important fight to protect our children.
