Sunraysia Meniere's Support Group
Sunraysia Meniere's Support Group is a Self Help Group for those suffering from Meniere's Disease. Although the group does not meet on a regular basis, we do have from time to time public meetings with Guest Speakers. We provides one to one counselling and support, with the assistance of the Meniere's Support Group of Victoria.Meniere's Disease is a debilitating and disabling condition which causes combined symptons such as vertigo, vomoting / nausea, tinnitus and hearing loss. Each persons symptons vary, with not all being the same at any one time. A no / low salt diet is recommended to relieve symptons. it effects people differently so we all have similar but different stories to tell, and all deal with it in different ways and stages. Having someone to talk to, who knows and understands what you are going through is often the one thing that can help you through difficult stages.
We welcome anyone who has Meniere's, who has a relative or who just wants to know more about the condition.
