South Melbourne District Sports Club
South Melbourne District Sports Club is a community based club founded in 1912 and located at the Clarke Shields Pavilion, Oval No 11, Aughtie Drive (opposite Fraser Street Light Rail Stop) in the Albert Park Reserve.
Our aim is to encourage children and adults of all ages to take an active role in their community through the many sports we offer throughout the year either as players, coaches, helpers or supporters.
Our Senior Football teams are affiliated with the VAFA (Seniors, Reserves & Under 19s) and Junior Football with the MSJFL (Under 9s through to Under 17s). We also offer an Auskick program for our younger footballers. During the summer months, we offer a junior cricket program (Milo Cricket through to U16s). Our Senior Cricket teams are associated with the Middle Park Cricket Club.
During the summer months, we also have a senior Basketball team that players at the Melbourne Sports and Acquatic Centre.
