Community Art Initiative
Inviting Artists in the Central Victorian area to develop Art and display in a monthly local and regional undercover market.
A busy Work4thedole group has created a community space complete with art screens and an Australiana designed lifesize chessboard with animal pieces.
The current Work4thedole group is creating mosaic artworks - stepping stones, tree surrounds, wall inserts, table tops and bench seats. Some of these mosaics have been installed in the grounds of schools in and around Castlemaine. See photos of many of these mosaics by clicking on "Photos" on the left of this screen under Group Features.
(The group will also be promoting the History of Midland Support Services Inc. through art pieces depicting individual client stories.)
