Ozone Design -
The following details provided relate to the supply, installation and commissioning of a 1kW residential
grid-connected solar photovoltaic system, with the following assumptions:
Single storey dwelling with a steel roof pitched at 22 degrees
a
northerly orientation.
All house wiring compliant and in appropriate condition.
Good access to roof
cavity;
meter box capable of accommodating additional wiring, switching and metering.

Costs -
What price will you offer for a single 1kW
system based on the above assumptions?

$ no fixed price given until we quote each job or group of
jobs with a site visit.
No charge for quotes.

What deposit is required to be paid by the
customer? At what stage is this required?
(A)
Usually a small holding deposit when federal rebate pre-approval is granted then either a single
final payment (for finance approved) or staged.

Is any deposit refundable? If so, under what
conditions?

Deposit is not refundable, but quote is free &
detailed. Special circumstances considered.

Please outline any other mandatory additional
costs (i.e. Any pre-inspection costs? Other?)

No hidden costs. Full detailed quote PANELS. Includes;
INVERTER . EQUIPMENT . APPROVALS & SYSTEM GUARANTEE . Any related electrical work fully quoted before work commences (often a contingency estimate for pre-approval stage).

Please outline indicative costs of any additional
work which may be required for non-standard
homes (i.e. Tiled roofs, double storey homes,
meter board replacement, roof pitch, etc.)

We fully advise for each house in a group during
a fixed & full free quotation.

Rebate – Solar Homes and Communities Plan (SHCP)
Will you compile, complete and submit the
necessary paperwork required for SHCP preapproval
on behalf of the customer?

YES. We advise on & supervise ALL approvals.
Can lodge for customer / group or assist them to
do so, flexible within funding requirements.

RECs
Does the stated price include the customer
assigning eligible Renewable Energy Systems
(RECs) to the installer?
(A)
YES. We can arrange for various options where
requested. Customer can keep RECs if they
choose. We explain self management of RECs & fully explain the methods & benefits of customer retaining their RECs.

Other -
Is a certificate of electrical safety supplied upon
completion of installation? Is this included in
the quoted price? (If not, what is the additional
cost for this?)

on the equipment and installation of your
products?

Equipment carries manufacturers guarantees.
We provide guarantee on installation &
electricals. Fully detailed with each system supplied & can be clarified with quotation.

We follow recommended practice according to the Solar Energy Installers Association & are in touch with the association updates.
All installations meet Clean Energy Council standards for accredited installers & Australian
Standards & Building Code of Australia requirements.
We have capacity to advise on related
building, electrical, Architectural & energy saving aspects of the home where they directly relate to
solar installation & can advise on separate ongoing services where invited.
We hold membership with
AIA, ANZSES, ATA, & our preferred electrical contractor is an ETU member.
We provide CEC accredited quotation & verbal advice so our customers can expect fully informed & intelligent advice with a reliable & top
quality installation.
We are glad to answer questions & aim to bring a complete & professional
understanding to each job & household which we visit & work for.

We do not offer fixed without a site visit. We are keen to see each potential job
& provide precisely the detail each customer requires & quote on that basis. We will not pretend to
offer one size fits all solution, though we do offer a range of typical solutions to begin discussion,
leading to a fully informed quotation after a site visit.
Having a registered Architect leading the job gives customers peace of mind.
