Originally the Somali Women's Sewing Group, supported by Brunswick Baptist Church, and open to all women and children, of any culture and any faith, or none.
Time - 12:30pm to 3:00pm Wednesdays, and 2:30pm to 4:30pm Saturdays. During school holidays we offer special project workshops. Venue - Brunswick Baptist Church Hall, 491 Sydney Rd Brunswick (opposite Blyth St) Cost - Free Children can come with you, and there is a play area for them in the room. This is a welcoming place to learn or share sewing and other craft skills, meet diverse women and children, and create community. Practise English. Make or mend clothes and household items, gifts or protest banners! Equipment and most materials are provided.
