Sailability North
Sailability North provide people of all abilities with the opportunity to learn to sail at Jack Roper Reserve in Broadmeadows for a low cost.
The club runs two community sailing day per month (typically the first and third Sunday of the month from September through to May). Individuals and families need to book, with approximately half an hour of sailing for $5 per boat (two people per boat). Organisations, schools and community groups also have the opportunity to book a day of sailing at the bargain price of $80; half day bookings are also available. The day of sailing can be mid-week or on the weekend, but is dependant on volunteer availability.
Information about what you need to bring is located on the Sailability Flyer (look under shared files). This site also provides you with links to other relevant websites and the opportunity to share stories with fellow sailors.
We desperately need more volunteers to help us out on sailing days, you don't necessarily need sailing experience just a willingness to help out.
If you are interested in attending a sailing day or you would like to become a volunteer with the club please phone 0431-197-064 to book or express your interest.
