Reservoir wRiters and Reciters
Two aspects of writing will be central to all group activities:
- exploring as many means and processes of writing as practicable
in a group setting
- finding audiences and performance spaces, within the local
community and further afield
The focus is on the writing of, by and about Reservoir locals and locales, in relation to their connection to the broader world. Neighbouring areas are most welcome.
This group has a pigeon hole at the Reservoir branch of Darebin Library, where it meets for some of its activities.
The Poets Picnic is an initiative of the Reservoir wRiters and Reciters inaugurated in November 2008 at the Ruthven Community Storytelling Garden.
