IMPORTANT NOTICE TO VOLUNTEERS
In October2002 the Wrongs and Other Acts (Public Liability Insurance Reform) Act 2002 was passed. This Act was part of the Government response to problems in the insurance sector and included provisions to protect volunteers from personal liability. For information on the Volunteer Protection Legislation please go to www.sport.vic.gov.au on their Home page you will see the noticeboard where you can download this document. I would be most grateful if this could be placed on the noticeboard at the Rinks and for Club Committees to make their members aware of this information. |
