We are a non-government, non-profit environment group that grows and plants native seedlings. For 15 years TreeProject has coordinated the activities of hundreds of enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers in growing seedlings in their back yards, verandas and rooftops and planting indigenous trees and grasses for landholders.

The many hours of volunteer work allows TreeProject to subsidise the cost of seedling propagation, passing these savings on to the landholder.

It's a unique idea that helps tackle the salinity and land degradation in the bush, while giving people who live in cities and towns a chance to do something practical and positive to the envirnoment. In the process, we build important links between rural and urban communities.

TreeProject is growing - and planting.
branching out across Victoria

You too can contiribute to the enviromnet. Grow natives trees from seed and return the seedlings to the bush.
