| In 2001 a ‘Back to Balmattum’ was held and a book launched on the people and district. There is one soldier named incorrectly and another soldier’s photo has just come to light.
The photo of Percy Walker in the book is not him, so I have been able to show the correct photo. Roy Phelan’s photo has recently been sent by a relation to the lady who did the soldiers research for the book. If you have any additional information or photos we would be very pleased to receive a copy of what you have.
