Residents for Access, Mobility and Participation (R.A.M.P.)
This is a Residents Group for people/families/carers or interested persons living in the Hobsons Bay Municipality who have any form of disability or an interest in making positive change to peoples lives. The focus of this group is a self advocacy approach, in a supportive, respectful and empowering manner. The Groups vision is to educate the wider community of the difficulties faced by individuals with disabilities on a day to day basis and to enable positive change and mutual benefits to all individuals in the community through this process. For example: safety issues, lighting, access to buildings, discrimination due to disability, maintenance of footpaths etc.
