RAM group
The CEP committee of management, acting in an advocacy role, is interested in represent your views about the RAM to the decision-makers. To enable us to do this accurately we are keen to gain your comments and reactions about the likely impact of the RAM on rural communities.
The Project would be keen to gain reaction and comments to the following specific areas:
(i) the proposal of a "Core" within the RAM
(ii) the proposal of an "Equity" component within the RAM
(iii) the proposed inclusion of rurality within the "Equity" component of the RAM
(iv) the allocation of commonwealth targeted programs such as the Country Area Program which currently goes to identified schools as a separate line item within the school budget.
The Department of Education and Training will seek Cabinet approval of the Resource Allocation Model (RAM) in July.
