Partners of Veterans Association Victoria
The Victorian branch of this association exists to support partners of veterans and war widows.
The association offers education, awareness and camaraderie to women who are often isolated not only by distance but by emotional and psychological reasons due to their veteran partners particular conditions.
The PVA offers regular gatherings through their network of sub-groups as well as quarterly "meet and greet" get togethers.
The PVA offers practical support and advice to women who require more than the help afforded by the usual DVA (Dept of Veteran Affairs) services. They offer personal contact.
It is an organisation of women for women.
