The purpose of Probus ..... to stimulate thought, interest and participation in activities at a time of life when horizons are narrowing and opportunities to make friends may be limited. Arising out of membership and activities, there can be self generating good will, a sense of belonging, a diverse background of interests, fellow feeling and cordiality.
