Project Respect works for a world where prostitution is no longer a right for men or a reality for women.

We are Australia's first and foremost anti-trafficking NGO, and spearheaded the successful 2003 campaign for federal government recognition of trafficking.

Our work on trafficking grows out of our broader work with women in the sex industry. We provide outreach and support to women in the sex industry, offer leadership training and personal development weekends, and work for better policy responses to prostitution.

For more information about Project Respect visit www.projectrespect.org.au.

This group is a venue for receiving updates about Project Respect work, and, more generally, about local and international initiatives responding to trafficking and prostitution.

The group is open to anyone committed to challenging violence against women in the sex industry.
