We are a group of single parents living in or near the City of Port Phillip who meet regularly for shared family activities. We provide informal opportunities for mutual support, networking and information sharing while enjoying ourselves.

The aim of this community is to:
- inform members of activities for single parents in the local area
- allow members to contact each other and arrange informal social activities with other members
- provide a forum for discussion of issues of particular relevance to single parent families
- share useful information on events, services, and other resources in the local area.

Membership is open to all single parents with a genuine interest in family activities.

The events which are listed on the website are the official activities of the Port Phillip Single Parent Families program funded by the City of Port Phillip and auspiced by YMCA Family Services. These events are open to all single parent families living in or near the City of Port Phillip.

Other events listed within this community, and viewable only by members, are informal events organised by members on a "group of friends getting together" basis and are not officially endorsed by City of Port Phillip or YMCA Family Services.
