Reconciliation Victoria(RV) has grown out of the former State Reconciliation Committee, which was established by the Council for Aboriginal Reconciliationto foster and promote reconciliation across the state through partnerships with communities, business and governments. RV is a non-profit community-based organisation, which is part of a movement or reconciliation organisations in each state and territory. RV became an incorporated body in early 2002 and held its first elections in July 2002.
