 Configuring Debian 3.0 - Woody is complicated 

The installation routine for Woody is targeted at the knowlegable - not the neophyte. Whilst you do not need to be a 'Guru', you do need the services of a PFY (Pimply Faced Youth). This page will explain what we have learned through trial and error

 Swap Disk 

Typical Linux installations recommens a swap disk twice the size of your available RAM. When using KDE Office and other major applications, your machine benefits by having 128 Mb RAM - or swap memory.

Bring it to our Computer Recycling Workshop and we will salvage it to make a computer for someone who doesn't have one.
