People Living With Parkinson's Advisory Group
A group for members of the People Living with Parkinson's Advisory Group. So they can communicate freely across the State.
The People Living with Parkinson's Advisory Group Aims:
1 To be the voice of PLWP to the Board of Parkinson's Victoria
2 To inform PLWP of appropriate Board activities.
3 To assist and inform Support Groups of the availability and necessary application processess to be followed particularly in relation to Government grants and other support services.
4 To inform and assist those PLWP of the availabe services such as pensions, allowances, taxi cards, companion cards etc.
5 Encourage interaction between Support Group and offer advise to Support Group members in the running of such groups as requested.
6 Encourage each PLWP in Victoria to be affliated to a Support Group.
7 Encourage Support Groups to pool ideas for increasing membership of both Support Groups and Parkinson's Victoria.
