Compared to other countries Australia is the land of milk and honey (and beer). She'll be right mate describes the Aussie spirit well, and in the main, this is an admirable quality. Yet this same quality has the inherent potential for its own undoing; this carefree attitude can easily slide into apathy, and this makes it easier for the 'powers' to prepare the way for the 'lord.'
Threats to our way of life, which has been the envy of the world, go unnoticed, until the impact is felt personally, but by then it is too late - by then new laws have been introduced, or old ones amended, and the infrastructure set in place. Sounds like an exaggeration? - Read on. |
