Church History
| In the beginning the Church struggled with the pagan Roman empire. Next came the heresies and the Ecumenical Councils. Now the conflict is not only with the world at large, but sad to say, between Orthodox and within Orthodoxy. Canonical status, or lack of, is an issue that has a life of its own, even among the 'well' informed. |
