North West CALD Partnership
Role>
Established in 2007, the role of the North West CALD Partnership (NWCP) is to promote better Home and Community Care (HACC) services for multicultural communities in the North and West Metropolitan Region (NWMR).
The major aim of the NWCP is to:
-Improve integration of HACC services in the NWMR, so that CALD communities have better access to services and receive a higher quality of service.
We will do this by:
-influencing, encouraging and supporting agencies to provide culturally appropriate services and improve HACC service delivery for multicultural communities;
-encouraging and supporting partnerships between member organisations (and where appropriate, non-HACC services) which will assist in better meeting the needs of CALD communities for HACC services;
-working collaboratively with other networks to provide mutual support in the community.
