North East Neighbourhood House Network
The North East Network comprises 30 Neighbourhood Houses and Learning Centres across North East Metropolitan Melbourne. The Network includes the municipalities of Yarra, Darebin, Banyule, Nillumbik, Whittlesea and Murrindindi.
The Network Vision is a committment to social justice, community develpment principles, collaboration, community based governance and proactive action.
The Network facilitates the member Houses and Centres to meet their community's needs by the practice of community development. The Network achieves this through information dissemination, resourcing members in their roles and responsiblities, facititating the co-ordination and linkage amongst the membership and advocating on behalf of membership at a community, local and state governement level.
