NEAT brings together a range of people with an interest in the implications and use of technology with, by and for the benefit of, older people.

NEAT members come from every State and Territory of Australia (along with several from overseas); capital cities, regional centres, towns, rural and remote areas of Australia.

The NEAT community membership includes seniors technology initiatives at local, regional, state / territory and national levels; peak organisations; government departments and agencies at local, state and national levels - not just those which focus on ageing, but also other areas including information technology; academics and researchers from a range of disciplines; senior's web sites; local and regional community technology / online centres; libraries; the health professions; community centres; adult education providers; and assistive technology specialists
