Size: NDS has 5 full time staff members, 4 trainees, 18 permanent part time employees and around 15 casual staff. Age: NDS was incorporated in 1989. NDS is a Public Benevolent Institution. Customer Base: Primarily people with a disability however we also assist ABI, Aged care & people with mental illness. Geographical Location: We are located in Numurkah with two additional houses located in Mooroopna and Numurkah. Service Provision: We provide: • Individual choice programs and plans • Accommodation • Social & Community Access • Recreation & Leisure Activities • Outreach Programs • Carer’s Respite • In-house support • Holidays for Carers & Clients • Skill Development Programs • Lets get active programs Northern Disability Services is committed to providing individuals with the ability to develop their own choices and play a part in our community. Mission Statement To establish and maintain a safe, caring, and happy environment to foster personal development for those whose disability requires the support of professional carers. Vision Statement To provide appropriate support to individuals with disability to enable them to actualise their full potential and be fully integrated into the Community. |
