We offer respite & care to over 60 people and their families in the Moira Shire and the Shepparton and Mooroopna townships at the present time. NDS currently employs over 30 staff offering a range of services to meet individual’s needs. Including: • Two residential houses in Numurkah & Mooroopna housing 12 people. • Respite for carers and clients including in house support and breaks. • Weekly social activities such as Ten-pin bowling, swimming, walking and community groups based in Numurkah, Yarrawonga & Shepparton. • One off activities, such as trips to Melbourne, discos and other community activities. • Helping to establish an Acquired Brain Injury Support group Northern Disability Services is committed to providing individuals with the ability to develop their own choices and play a part in our community. |
