The Marsupial Society has been established in Victoria for over 10 years. The Society has a growing membership Australia wide.
A full member receives the Society’s bi-monthly publication containing a range of articles on husbandry of marsupial species, conservation issues and general marsupial information.
The Marsupial Society of Victoria offers members a range of activities including Field Days and General Meetings.
Membership also provides access to the Society’s Exchange Steward. This is a free service for members wishing to obtain, exchange or sell marsupials to other members.
The Society caters for a diverse membership base - people with a general interest in marsupials, people keeping breeding specific species, Wildlife Carers, Wildlife Parks, Environmental Groups, Zoo keepers and Conservationists.

The Study of Marsupials
The promotion of hygienic keeping, scientific management and breeding of marsupials in captivity.
The dissemination of information on marsupial keeping and hand rearing.
The conservation of marsupials in the wild and the establishment of viable breeding populations in captivity.
The representation and publication of the objectives of The Society to the government and the community.
