William Walter (25 April 1884 - 2 March 1965) married Annie Isobel Scarborough (1891 - 27 September 1938) on 4 December 1912 at Gormandale.

The couple initially lived at Gormandale, with their first three children being born in Traralgon:

The family then spent several years near Biggenden, Queensland, where a further three children were born:

M-4-10-4. Mary Ellen (4 April 1919 - 27 May 2000) M-4-10-5. (Adelaide Annie (11 January 1921 - ) M-4-10-6. Joyce Olive (6 March 1923 - 22 September 2000)

After Annie's death in 1938 Will eventually remarried - to Frances Grace Williams (4 April 1889 - 9 June 1973). Francie had previously been married to George Wellington (George died in 1946).

Francie and her first husband George had raised Jesse Morley (M-4-13-3) the baby son of Albert Morley (M-4-13) and his first wife Dorris, after Dorris' death in 1923.

During this time Jesse became known as Morrie, and in some places is referred to as Morrie Wellington.
