The Migrant Hub
The Migrant Hub is a non-profit organisation based in Wyndham organised to :
• provide recently arrived migrants from non-English speaking backgrounds with information and referral services to assist them in their settlement
• identify areas of need and provide CALD community groups with facilities and services to enable them to participate in community life
• promote the awareness of needs of the CALD communities to the Council and the mainstream service providers
• assist in capacity building of migrant communities by providing an appropriate meeting place and prayer room for specific community groups as well as other organisational support and advice
• support migrants in acquiring skills which increase their employability
• encourage and assist migrants with entrepreneurial skills and backgrounds to establish businesses employing other migrants
